Please remember that tickets must be renewed between January 1st and April 1st.
After March 14th you cannot fish until you have renewed your ticket. Last year we reached our limit for members and consequently we now have a healthy waiting list, so please bear in mind that if you have not renewed by the 1st April the spaces will be filled and you will have to go to the back of the waiting list and therefore pay the entrance fee again.
Please DO NOT let this happen.

1 acre depths 2 to 5ft. Parking is in the farmyard on the left or right immediately
over the cattle grid, then walk straight through the yard
with the house on your right, through two gates and down the
field approx 150 yards to the pool which is slightly larger
than the first pool and has an island at the top end where
the water is shallower and silty compared to the dam end which
is about 4ft deep. Lily beds run along most of the margins
and attract the carp, which are more numerous in this pool
and run into double figures, also contains roach, perch, bream
and the odd tench. The smaller pool at the side which was
dug more recently can be fished but does not hold any quantity
of fish at present. Full annual Membership is available and runs from April 1st to March 31st.
There are no day tickets available. The Committee via Notice Boards , The Annual
Newsletter and The DVAA Website aim to keep their members updated on any
developments relating to the waters controlled by them and any social evenings being held, some of which may include guest speakers.
Photo ID Cards Please remember when you are fishing that you must have your car pass clearly displayed in your vehicle and that you are required to have your photo ID card and your current yearly Membership card with you and available for inspection. If you have not complied with these rules then you will be asked to leave the water.
Pool 1

This is a very pleasant pool to fish as it does not have many
pegs and suffer from overfishing but holds a good head of
bream up to 2lbs and a few bigger ones, backed up with nice
roach and a few perch. Also contains a decent number of carp
particularly commons from 3lbs to double figures and the odd
tench.
